Mr. Kailash Chand Agarwal

Mr. Kailash Chand Agarwal is the Chairman Emeritus and founder of Sona Biscuits Ltd. (SOBISCO). He is a first-generation entrepreneur who laid the foundation of the Company, driven by a vision to create a high-quality and affordable range of biscuits for Indian consumers.

With over four decades of extensive experience in the FMCG industry, Mr. Agarwal has played a pivotal role in shaping the identity and growth trajectory of SOBISCO. From a modest beginning, he built the Company into a prominent name in the Indian biscuit and confectionery sector, recognised for its commitment to quality, innovation, and consumer trust.

Under his strategic foresight and values-driven leadership, SOBISCO developed state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, established a robust distribution network, and entered new product categories, ensuring consistent growth across markets. His deep understanding of consumer behaviour and ability to adapt to evolving market dynamics have been instrumental in positioning SOBISCO as a trusted household brand.
